WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Anthony’s Way—The Road to Kindness (AWTRTK) is hosting the second annual Walk A Mile for Kindness & ADHD Awareness during the Random Acts of Kindness week.
All proceeds from the walk go towards the organization’s Holistic Care Model, supporting teens with ADHD whose families cannot afford essential services such as coaching, therapy, nutrition guidance, tutoring and others.
Participants can form a team or join on their own and walk a mile at an established walk nearby, charting their own path or hosting a walk in their community. They then choose a kind act to perform and upload photos of the act to AWTRTK.
The nonprofit was founded by Tony and Cassi Bellezza in honor of their late son Anthony. They strive for children and teens to receive the support they need.
