About the event

Being Kind starts at an early age. Schools are a big part of teaching kindness.

For  Schools that are participating in the Walk A Mile for Kindness & ADHD, it is important to show the kind acts that the students did during Random Acts of Kindness week.

Download our flyer here.

After you complete the walk, we encourage you to come back to school and post your kind act(s) on the Orange Hearts. This tells everyone that Kindness is the norm! Here's how:

  • Have your students write their Kind Act on the Orange Heart
  • Post the hearts on a bulletin board to symbolize unity bringing every student together to show support for being Kind!

You may be wondering why is the color Orange important?

  • Orange is the color of unity and it evokes a sense of teamwork and shared purpose!
  • Our shared purpose is to raise the level of kindness and help kids with ADHD to Thrive!
  • That is why we chose Orange as the color for Anthony's Way - The Road to Kindness.
  • The final reason is because it was one of Anthony's favorite colors.

We appreciate every school and teacher that takes the lead in participating in this event, taking the lead in demonstrating that Kindness is the Norm at School! Thank you!
